Welcome to Big Ricks Neat Stuff!

Have you ever walked into a resale, game. or collectable shop to be greeted by people who have no passion or interest for whatever they're selling? I have, and you know as well as I do that it really takes away from the experience of being in the collectible/gaming community. That was my motivation for starting Big Rick's Neat Stuff - So collectors and gamers would have a place to buy, sell, trade and hang out with others who are also passionate about collectables and "nerd" culture. Now I know what you're thinking... "Rick, you built a website to peddle your wares. How do you plan on creating a personal bond with the people purchasing your neat stuff?" And you're right! But I have to start somewhere. In addition to the website, I will be taking this show on the road around Michigan, hitting up conventions and meetup's all over! I want to get out there and hang out with all you terrific people, with the website serving as FOMO correction option when you didn't buy that cool, shiny item you saw while hanging with me at whatever location we meet at. And if you don't see it on the website? Just reach out via our contact us button, phone number, or e-mail, and if its still available, we'll figure out a way to get that fun, new item into your possession! Furthermore, as I get this train rolling, I plan on setting up different forums and events to try to bring the community together while I attempting to generate enough coin to open a physical location to better serve all you wonderful folks.

There was always a sense of belonging and togetherness in this community, whether it was walking through the doors of Funcoland to grab the latest Zelda game or heading up to Aladin's Castle Arcade to burn though a few quarters in the Star Wars pinball machine. Maybe you were heading out to pull an all-nighter on DOTA 2. You'd walk in and just feel that you were right where you were supposed to be, regardless of what was going on in life. Its through this bond that I garnered a passion for many different facets of collectibles and hobbies. Unfortunately, you don't find many places that can bring this same sense of comradery anymore. My hope is to change that and make Big Rick's Neat Stuff a blast from the past in all the right ways!
